The Show

Meet Hans Christian Andersen, the legendary storyteller behind The Little Mermaid, The Ugly Duckling, The Emperor's New Clothes, and more. But this time, he's not just a name on the page—he's the star of his own story. As the world marks the 150th anniversary of his passing, HANS: My Life in Fairytales reimagines Andersen's journey from a struggling young dreamer to one of the world's most celebrated writers, blending his life with the unforgettable tales he left behind.

This world premiere production is a theatrical feast, packed with puppetry, live video, clown, slapstick, opera, and an original accordion soundtrack. Created by acclaimed theatre-makers Craig Francis and Rick Miller (Twenty Thousand Leagues Under the Sea, Jungle Book, FRANKENSTEIN: A Living Comic Book), it's a spellbinding mix of humor, heart, and visual magic.

A celebration of imagination for kids, families, and anyone who still believes in the power of a good story.
