Dailyn Martínez was born in Cuba, graduated from the prestigious Escuela Nacional de Espectáculos Musicales in Havana, specializing in contemporary dance, musical theatre and cabaret. She has been sharing her passion for dance for over twenty years. In Toronto, she is the Owner/Director of ShumdeSalsa Dance Company where she teaches different styles such as Cuban Salsa, Son ,Afro-Cuban , traditions and musicality of Cuban Culture.
Enrico Casertano has been dancing professionally for over a decade. He knows how to break down the steps and barriers we face to create a positive mindset for his students. Needless to say, he's a perfect fit for the ShumdeSalsa family.
With experience in Cuban salsa and its roots, like Afro, Rumba, Son, Reggaeton and Cha Cha Cha, he's got all the moves. By listening to and supporting our student's needs, he helps them find their own style and confidence. He's the kind of teacher who makes you believe anything is possible, no matter who you are.
