The series provides an open floor to share, connect, and explore Canadian and international work at all stages of development.

Delegates can participate in networking events, pitch sessions, community conversations, and one-on-one meetings, bringing together diverse art communities across disciplines, borders, and perspectives to inspire—and be inspired—together.

Industry Series 2026

The Industry Series is where artists, producers, presenters, and decision-makers come together to advance artistry to the next stage.

In its 9th iteration, the Industry Series is a multi-day incubator for both Canadian and international work, providing an open floor to share, connect, and explore. Across disciplines, borders, and perspectives, delegates can participate in networking events, pitch sessions, community conversations, and one-on-one meetings.

The fan-favourite Pitch Sessions return, sparking new partnerships and collaborations and offering a platform to share works in development with industry leaders from across the country and beyond. These sessions are co-curated with the National Creation Fund of the National Arts Centre. You’ll also hear about new work from many of Canada’s leading companies and theatres.

As part of Luminato Festival’s Industry Series, delegates will also have the opportunity to participate in the inaugural Canadian Festival of New Musicals, co-presented by Luminato and partners—a development site for some of North America’s most exciting music theatre projects in progress.
