When artist Miriam Fernandes approaches the legendary eco-pioneer David Suzuki to create a theatre piece about climate change, she expects to write about David’s perspective as a scientist.

Instead, she discovers the boundless vision and efforts of Tara Cullis, a literature scholar, climate organizer, and David’s life partner. Miriam realizes that David and Tara’s decades-long love for each other, and for family and friends, has only clarified and strengthened their resolve to fight for the planet. Aysanabee is a multi-instrumentalist, producer and singer songwriter currently based in Toronto. He is Oji-Cree, Sucker Clan of the Sandy Lake First Nation a remote fly-in community in the far reaches of Northwestern Ontario. Featured in Luminato Live At Yonge-Dundas Square! during Luminato 2022, Aysanabee’s music continues to capture our hearts.

His debut album, Watin (2022) named after his grandfather, includes 10 tracks and nine interludes featuring the voice of his grandfather and is both part music and journalism, artistry and expression.

For the vintage music lovers in your life : This 80s album comes in CD, record and (even) cassette by Beverly Glenn-Copeland, who appeared at Luminato Live at Yonge-Dundas Square! during Luminato 2022.

Pioneering electronic composer and generally-beloved person  Beverly Glenn-Copeland  has detailed  Keyboard Fantasies Reimagined , the remix album of his  seminal 1986 record.

Julia HolterBon Iver  and  Flock of DimesJoseph Shabason  and Thom Gill,  Arca  and Ana Roxanne all feature on the record, alongside previously shared remixes from  Kelsey LuBlood Orange  and  Jeremy Dutcher

Along with the full tracklist, Copeland has also shared Roxanne’s rendition of “Old Melody,” entitled “Old (New) Melody.”
