This year’s festival tells stories of migration & movement, memory and makers. We explore the forced movement of people who were enslaved; dreams of second generation kids living downtown; archived movements of dancers through the night; imaginary creatures moving through the wilderness of time and place. The stories we tell are about finding home, and the search for stillness and safety at last.
Featuring world renowned experts, makers, movers and shakers, in lively discussion exploring the big ideas behind Luminato ’23. Join us for panels, downloadable workbooks, films and more while you explore ideas surrounding migration, home, memory, and protest.
