Walls For All
June 14, 6-9pm
210 King St E, Toronto ON
Hosted by East End Arts & Muralroutes
Although more women and gender-diverse artists & curators have become established in recent years, public art has traditionally been – and continues to be – a (mostly white) male-dominated field, full of barriers and challenges for gender-diverse artists. How can we create more space for women and gender diverse creators to participate in street art culture? How can we help these artists tackle many of the barriers they face?
This panel discussion & gathering features expert guests from festival partners MASSIVart and leaders in the Toronto public art community, responding to the recent findings of the national Walls for All community consultation process. Together, we invite you to imagine how to make our streets for everyone, and our Walls for All.
