After two years of pandemic and four spent away from the world’s stages, Zeca Pagodinho promises to take samba to the major European capitals, such as Paris, London and Lisbon, and also to North American cities such as Miami, Chicago, Washington DC and New York, among others. By doing so, the artist will be celebrating, in Brazil and abroad, 40 years in the music business.
Zeca Pagodinho misses touring the globe. His last world tour took place in 2018, when he performed in a number of cities for the first time, such as Paris, Geneva and Zurich. His repertoire would not be complete without the sambas that have marked his career as an artist, such as “Camarão que Dorme a Onde Leva”, “Verdade”, “Deixa a Vida Me Levar”, “Judia de Mim”, “Maneiras”, “Quando a Gira Girou” and “Ser Humano”.
Additionally, the singer has sold over 12 million records, has been nominated for 8 Grammys, winning 4, and promises to entertain the audience with various other hits. “Coração em Desalinho”, “Vai Vadiar” and “Seu Balancê” are just a few that cannot be left off his set list.
On his last tour, Zeca was able to travel the world taking samba and Brazilian culture to the widest range of languages. Always enthusiastic, the singer’s goal is to create a show at which Brazilians who live in the cities visited can experience a little of what they miss about their home country, while at the same time showing foreigners what Brazilian music is like.
“After the sad times we have been through in Brazil and around the world, it is going to be great to sing and bring joy to the Brazilians who live abroad, and also to the local audiences in each place we visit”, Zeca maintains.
During the tour, Zeca Pagodinho will be accompanied by a professional team of musicians and technicians to guarantee the quality and total success of the shows. In his suitcase, the artist will carry the recollection and the pleasure of performing on international stages, a lot of music, and the responsibility to throw a party in each country in which he performs.
