Mike Tanner

Mike Tanner is the City of Toronto’s Program Manager for Music Sector Development.

As part of the City’s Film & Entertainment team, Mike works with the music community across Toronto, supporting the industry to help it achieve its potential as a major generator of economic benefit and a touchstone of Toronto’s culture while advocating for the interests of the music business and musicians in policies developed at City Hall.

Mike’s own experience as a musician includes many years performing, touring, and recording. Prior to joining the City, he was Director of Operations for the North by Northeast Festival.
