Marci Rogers

Marci Rodgers is an award-winning costume designer known for her ability to bring stories from script to screen through impeccable detail and authenticity.
Her designs can be seen in several films and television series including Spike Lee’s Academy Award-winning and highly acclaimed period film, BLACKKKLANSMAN, in which Rodgers received a Costume Designers Guild Award nomination for the film’s rich palette and ‘70s wardrobe, as well as Seasons 1 and 2 of Lee’s modern reboot of SHE’S GOTTA HAVE IT, which premiered on Netflix.
Rodgers’ most recent film credits include Chinonye Chukwu’s upcoming drama, TILL, Netflix’s PASSING, and Steven Soderbergh’s crime drama, NO SUDDEN MOVE. She also recently designed Season 1 of Amazon Studios’ new series, PAPER GIRLS.
Additionally, Rodgers’ past credits include Liz Garbus’s thriller film LOST GIRLS, Steven Soderbergh’s Netflix drama film, HIGH FLYING BIRD, Christopher Morris’s crime comedy film, THE DAY SHALL COME, and Season 1 of the Hulu original series, WU-TANG: AN AMERICAN SAGA.
From her educational roots at Howard University where she received a B.B.A. in Marketing, Rodgers went on to receive a Corporate M.B.A. from Florida International University. Furthering her studies, Rodgers received a Certificate in Fashion Design and Marketing from Central Saint Martins – University of the Arts London, and at last graduated from The University of Maryland with an M.F.A. in Costume Design.
