Courtenay is an actor, clown, frequent physical theatre performer and lover of train travel. For three years he did an international whistle stop tour with the silent, clown-based hit The Pianist (Europe/Asia). He also chugged along to over 100 cities as a clown with Cirque du Soleil’s Dralion. He’s let off steam in theatres across the country (Bard on the Beach, Arts Club, MTC, Caravan Farm, the Grand, Axis Mime, Stratford). He kept his TV career on track with appearances on: Frankie Drake, Suits, Designated Survivor and motion capture work for The Umbrella Academy. Prior to the covid derailment, his Toronto shows included: Henry G20 (Luminato), OIL (ARC), The Overcoat: a Musical Tailoring (Tapestry Opera/CanStage), The Election (Common Boots) and The Cherry Orchard (Modern Times).
