Victoria Day is a half-Korean artist whose work is a celebration of her Korean heritage. Through the study and presentation of Korea's rich history of traditional art practices, Victoria is able to re-connect to the ancestry that shapes the way she moves through the world. Victoria's love for detail and precision are showcased through her hand-painted patterns, while the glitches, distortions, and disturbances of those patterns express the nuances of the mixed-race, diasporic identity.
