Sarvenaz Rayati

Sarvenaz, an interdisciplinary artist based in Toronto, holds BA in painting and visual communication from the Art university of Tehran. She explores themes of heritage, the self, path, nature, and the act of seeking through various mediums, including large-scale public light installations ( featured in multiple Nuit Blanche projects) and mosaic installations in public spaces (such as Tiff Lightbox, Albion Library), as well as painting and sculpture.

In essence her work embodies visual storytelling, weaving together elements of Iranian art, film aesthetics, graphic novels, magic of nature and personal stories.
