Her serene vocals steeped in longing make for transcendental performances of Hindustani poetry in the Ghazal, Nazm, traditional bandish and folk formats - in languages such as Urdu/Hindi, Punjabi, Kashmiri, Purbi, Brijbhasha, Sindhi and Persian among others.
Adam Maalouf : Adam Maalouf is a Lebanese-American multi-instrumentalist and composer. His cross-genre style of music forms a common thread between the cultures of the East and West. Maalouf’s playing style on the pantam represents the cross-pollination of diverse influences, including western classical, Jazz, Arabic, and Indian classical music and electronica.
